"Whatever you are, be a good one.” Abraham Lincoln
We are not made for mediocrity, but we were made to fulfill the high calling placed on our lives. God has placed us right where we are for a purpose that has eternal value, not only for our lives but other’s lives, as well.
Madeline Wright takes pride in being able to serve as Miss Teen International. She is currently a full-time college student and she is majoring in Communications, with a minor in Journalism. She plans to attend law school, as well as start a blog and podcast company, in hopes of one day becoming a motivational speaker and writer. Additionally, she hopes to live in California someday! She enjoys traveling with her family and friends, taste-testing at coffee shops, writing on her personal blog, and shopping! But, most of all, she loves being involved with her local church and pouring into her youth group. It allows her to be transparent, genuine, and guide students through life’s situations: and, for that, she is grateful. She truly believes in this generation and longs for them to find their identity through God’s lens.
She has been heavily involved in the National FFA Organization since the age of 12, which sparked her passion for the agricultural industry. Madeline is fervent about feeding the rapidly growing population, which is why her platform focuses on the concept of “farm to table.” She believes that it is crucial for people know where our food comes from, to combat food waste, and to see that food is distributed properly. Madeline has worked in numerous classrooms across multiple states to conduct hands-on activities with students. In these moments with the children, she teaches them about the importance of agriculture. Madeline has also met with numerous farmers to find how they think and feel about current issues, so she can better understand all perspectives. She chooses to stand in the gap between farmers and consumers and to work until the divide has fully ended.
Madeline is thrilled to spend her year as Miss Teen International while working in partnership with agriculturalists. She prays to leave a legacy of service, honesty, and integrity, and to impact someone’s life for Christ’s glory.
