Marina Lopez-Braddock
1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
1. My name is Marina Lopez-Braddock, and I am Mexican-American. I believe that my cultures and ethnicities are a huge part of what helps build me into a greater person each and every day of my life. I appreciate so much in this world; and being surrounded by different languages and foods; music and people, I've learned to embrace cultures from around the world and really enjoy their individualities.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
2. I have played softball/baseball for most of my life. I joined my schools softball program and I am proud to tell you all that my team is the first team in 21 years to reach sectionals. I cherish softball and I love my team more than anything. Softball/baseball is such a huge part of my life. It helps people grow together and start friendships and it's a sport to be passionate about.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
3. There are countless numbers of words in the English language; but if my friends has to choose a word to describe who I am; I know they would choose 'adventurous'. I love going on adventures or creating my own. Trying new things is definitely something that I am known for. I believe that we each need to live life each day as our last, have fun, cherish the moments and try new things.
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
4. My platform is very close to my heart. When my mother was in high school, she lost her best friend in a car accident. I could never imagine losing my friend. I never want to witness someone suffer over a loss like my mother has. Distracted Driving isn't a joke, and anything can happen in the blink of an eye. Cherish your life and think of those you love before doing anything behind the wheel.
5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
5. Family is absolutely EVERYTHING. F.A.M. stands for father and mother, and the I.L.Y. stands for I love you. My father and mother gave me the gift of life. My mother gave me a beautiful sister, and a precious brother. We love our parents and we adore our mother. Life is nothing without a family and so many people take theirs for granted. I would do anything for my family because they’ve done everything for me.
